Abstract:
In this thesis I focus on three problems in sufficient dimension reduction: the asymptotic analysis of Contour Regression, the removal of the constant conditional variance assumption from the requirements of many existing dimension reduction methods, and the introduciton of a new class of highly accurate and flexible dimension reduction estimators called Invariant Aggregation Dimension Reduction Estimators.
