Abstract:
This dissertation focuses on two areas arising from various practical considerations in Inventory Management: limited historical data and service level agreements. Particularly, I investigate the inventory control parameters established with limited historical data and analyze the impact of the inventory allocation methods on the non-compliance penalties associated with the service level agreements. The goal of this dissertation is to provide insights on safety stock level estimation given limited historical data, as well as on service level performance of inventory allocations over finite review horizon.
