Abstract:
This document presents details on the steps and results of a π^0 A_N analysis in the
Forward Meson Spectrometer (FMS) detector at Brookhaven National Lab (BNL). This
analysis covers measurement of AN for pp, pAl, and pAu species at √s ≈ 200 GeV in
Run 15. We furthermore present a measurement of the evolution of AN with atomic
number A and compare these results to predictions from saturation models.
