Abstract:
This dissertation contains three papers on economic theory. The first paper proposes a model of price leadership. The second paper studies the effect of persistent shocks to payoffs on the players' ability to cooperate in a repeated prisoners' dilemma. Finally, the last paper proposes a new way to fairly distribute the welfare gains from trade in exchange economies.
